Chris Goetz-Lead Pastor

Chris Goetz was born and raised in Monmouth, Oregon… where the grass is greener and the mountains and ocean actually exist.  He is learning that the sun shines a whole lot more in Kansas than in Oregon for which he is grateful, due to his huge love for the outdoors. Chris spends as much time as possible outside hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, biking, disc golfing and anything outside! Both Chris and Natasha received a degree (Bachlor in Christian Ministry) from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Mo.

Chris' first passion in life is the One and Only God and second is his wonderful wife Natasha (Since Jan 3rd, 2003) followed by his two daughters Hope and MaKenna and son Malachi.  Beyond family he has a passion for people coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ.  Chris is full of energy and he uses it to replicate his passion for the Lord in each of the people God places in his path!

Chris joined the FCC family March of 2009 as the Youth & Children's Pastor.  He learned many valuable lessons as youth pastor.  On December 6th, 2015 Chris was transitioned into the Lead Pastor role.

Chris's Life Verse is Luke 9:23

"23 Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after (Jesus), he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."

Heavenly Father will you please provide a person who can take great care to make sure our children have a deep and healthy understanding of You!  Will you please provide this person in your timing and may they be the right person for this church, community and ultimately for your glory!
