Chris Goetz-Lead Pastor

Chris Goetz was born and raised in Monmouth, Oregon… where the grass is greener and the mountains and ocean actually exist.  He is learning that the sun shines a whole lot more in Kansas than in Oregon for which he is grateful, due to his huge love for the outdoors. Chris spends as much time as possible outside hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, biking, disc golfing and anything outside! Both Chris and Natasha received a degree (Bachlor in Christian Ministry) from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Mo.

Chris' first passion in life is the One and Only God and second is his wonderful wife Natasha (Since Jan 3rd, 2003) followed by his two daughters Hope and MaKenna and son Malakai.  Beyond family he has a passion for people coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ.  Chris is full of energy and he uses it to replicate his passion for the Lord in each of the people God places in his path!

Chris joined the FCC family March of 2009 as the Youth & Children's Pastor.  He learned many valuable lessons as youth pastor.  On December 6th, 2015 Chris was transitioned into the Lead Pastor role.

  Life Verse is Luke 9:23

"23 Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after (Jesus), he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."

Ryan McDonald-

Youth Pastor

Ryan McDonald was born in Los Angeles, CA. Ryan grew up in a military household and moved around a lot growing up. He eventually ended up in Manhattan, KS. It was in Manhattan, where he would hear God’s calling to ministry. Ryan decided to pursue God’s calling to ministry by attending Ozark Christian College, where he will be graduating in May 2019. Ryan loves all things sports. He loves powerlifting. He played football, basketball, and ran track when he was in high school. He was also the trainer for the Ozark Christian College Men’s and Women’s basketball team for a year.

Ryan’s greatest passion in life is serving the Lord. He wants to honor him, and be a good steward of the gifts that God has given him. Ryan’s second biggest passion is getting to be the husband to his beautiful wife, Miranda. Ryan met Miranda when they were in high school, started dating in college, and were married on June 23, 2018. After God and his wife, Ryan loves junior high and high school students. Ryan loves being able to see students grow in their love for Christ and helping them understand how they can use their gifts to glorify the Kingdom.

Life Mission Verse:  2 Timothy 2:1-3

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. (NIV)

Marsha Dulin

OFFICE Administrator

To my FCC family,

I joined the staff in November of 2006 and it has been a joy to serve as your secretary these past years.  It is time for me to start yet another season in life..."retirement" which I am anxiously ready for.  Dan & I have a few things we wish to do like spending more time with all our families, traveling, camping with our friends and new adventures to explore.  Who knows what our great God has in store for us!  Thank you all for your love and respect during these past 13+ years.

P.S.  Even though I may not be your secretary of FCC, I  will always be a part of something greater...First Christian Church Family!

God is: Above you to bless you, below you to support you, before you to guide you, behind you to protect you and beside you to comfort you.  (The "Lil" Church Mouse)

Kristina Sommer- Children's Pastor

Kristina Sommer was born in Garnett and grew up outside of Parker, KS.  She enjoys being outside, sports, knitting, gardening, kids, ministry and many other activities.  She graduated from Prairie View High school in 2005.  She attended Pittsburg State University where she got her bachelors degree in accounting in 2008.  It was at Pitt where she truly found the Lord.  After college, she began working with the kids and youth in her church and found a passion for ministry.

In 2011, she went back to school to get her Masters degree and then on to get her CPA license.  She now runs her own business, trying to help small business and individuals in the rural communities to gain financial success!

Her passion in life is to bring hope and joy to kids, showering them with the love of God, and to help people honor God with their life and finances.

“Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
